Delete your Dad's Fleet account
Dad's Fleet ("we", "us") is published by Dipko Services LLC. You can permanently delete your account and your personal data at any time, directly from inside the app or by contacting us using the email below.
Account deletion is permanent. Once your account is deleted, your profile, AI chat history, and sign-in credentials cannot be recovered. If you are the only member of a fleet, the fleet's vehicles, maintenance history, documents, mileage readings, and reminders are also deleted.
How to delete your account from inside the app
This is the fastest and most complete way. Your data is removed in real time.
- Open the Dad's Fleet app on your iPhone, iPad, Android device, or at dadsfleet.web.app.
- Sign in if you are not already signed in.
- Open the navigation drawer (the menu icon in the top-left).
- Tap Account.
- Under Danger zone, tap Delete account.
- Read the confirmation. Tap Continue.
- Re-enter your password (or re-authenticate with Google or Apple).
- Type DELETE in capital letters and tap Delete my account.
You will be signed out automatically and returned to the login screen. A confirmation message ("Your account has been deleted.") will appear.
If you cannot open the app
If you are unable to sign in or your device cannot run the app, email us and we will delete your account on your behalf:

Please send the request from the email address associated with the account so we can verify ownership. We will confirm deletion within 7 business days.
What is deleted
The following data is permanently removed when you delete your account:
- Account credentials — your sign-in record (email/password, Google, or Apple).
- Profile information — your name, address, phone number, and any other profile fields you provided.
- AI chat history — every conversation you have had with the Fleet Assistant.
- Uploaded files — images you uploaded to chat for AI processing.
- Notification subscriptions — your push-notification token and preferences.
- Subscription records — your Stripe customer record (Apple/Google billing records remain with the platform; manage them through your App Store or Play Store account).
If you are the only member of your fleet, we also delete:
- Vehicle records — every vehicle you tracked.
- Maintenance history — oil changes, repairs, inspections, and any other service log entries.
- Uploaded documents — insurance cards, registration cards, inspection stickers, and any other documents.
- Mileage readings — every odometer snapshot recorded for your vehicles.
- Reminders — pending and historical reminders.
- Project codes and outstanding invites — any pending invites to join your fleet.
Shared fleets
Dad's Fleet lets multiple people manage the same set of vehicles — this is called a "fleet project." If your fleet has more than one member, deleting your individual account removes your profile, chat history, and credentials, but the shared vehicle records, maintenance history, and documents remain available to the other members of the fleet.
If you would prefer that all shared fleet data be deleted as well, ask the other members to delete their accounts first, or email ernie.dipko@gmail.com and request a full project deletion.
Retention & backups
Primary deletion of your data happens immediately when you confirm the deletion in the app. Encrypted backups created by our infrastructure provider (Google Firebase) may retain copies of deleted data for up to 30 days, after which they are permanently expunged on Firebase's standard backup rotation.
Audit logs (which record only the fact that an account was deleted, not its contents) are retained for 2 years for security and compliance purposes.
Subscriptions
If you have an active subscription, deleting your account does not automatically cancel iOS App Store or Google Play subscriptions, because those are managed by Apple and Google directly. Cancel your subscription before deleting your account:
- iOS: Settings › Apple ID › Subscriptions.
- Android: Google Play Store › Profile › Payments & subscriptions › Subscriptions.
- Web (Stripe): Open the app and use the Subscription screen, or email support.
